A New Myth: By ME

Hey b10ggers!
Okay, I have some devastating news. Some terrible, heart breaking, saddening, life-altering news-
MY PHOTOS FROM MY PREVIOUS POSTS WERE DELETED.
I moved out of my old freaking school system and my email for that got deleted. So I changed my blogger email. AND THE WEBSITE DELETED MY OLD PHOTOS. I CANNOT STRESS HOW CREATIVE, AMAZING, AND FABULOUS THOSE PHOTOS WERE. I PUT SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT INTO THOSE. I AM DEVASTATED. If you never got to see them I am sorry. Those were absolutely amazing. My eyes welled up with tears when I read the news I am telling you THIS IS NOT OKAY. BLOGGER IF YOU ARE READING THIS JUST KNOW I WANT TO SCREAM AT YOUR CEO. I JUST TRIED TO PUT A PHOTO INTO THIS POST AND IT WON'T LET ME.
I don't know how much I will be blogging after this. I am distraught.
Okay, back to your original programming.

Back when Earth was new, the rivers had just began breaking through the crust of our world to make way for themselves. It was decided that some animals would live above water, and some animals would live below. This was the time before God decided there would be humans, and in that time period animals ruled the planet. Now, fish could decide to exit the water and explore without consequences of death. The oxygen was friendly to the fish, and they could easily breathe the air, while they expanded out of their territory. Now, this was a privilege, to be able to venture out of their native area. These fish under the rivers also lived in tribes, or clans all together to replicate the pods of dolphins they would see, or packs of wolves the fish would admire. In the part of the river where our story is set, there were four separate fish clans: The Grafton, The Timari, The Summer, and The Raymond. These clans all followed under the same God, and respected the rules that He laid out, which were,
  1. Do not eat food from the outside land.
  2. Do not go above the river at night.
  3. Fish may not disrespect each other.

If someone from a clan were to break one of these rules, oxygen privilege would be taken away for eternity for all fish. As aquamarine organisms had only been existing for one day, the oxygen privilege was not taken very seriously as marine life did not know time without it. On an hour in the early afternoon of the first day of life,  one very outgoing fish of the Summer clan decided she was too bright and knowledged of the outside world to stay in her tribe and made the choice to attempt her first land adventure. This cocky fish decided to wait until dusk, when the earth turned to black, to make the great journey to the river bank. When all of the fish in her clan were settled in for dinner, this bright and outgoing fish made the choice to flip her tail over to the bank.

Although she was confident, this fish was cocky, and strongly believed she was the brightest in all of the river. Upon arriving to the sandy slant, her eyes landed upon another fish, followed by another behind it, and another. She asks who they are, and why they are at the bank after dusk. Each fish explains what clan they are from, and what their mission is. After contemplating, the she-fish of the Summer clan decides to make a run for it to be named the first fish to ever admire the land at night. Although she knew she was breaking a rule, she believed in automatic forgiveness. The three other fish yelled at her, telling this boastful fish that their clans will also suffer and the river- or all other fish as they knew it- would suffer the consequence of bidding farewell to this marvelous privilege. The fish of the summer clan named them all as cowards, and proceeded to rise her eyes, then her gills, then her flippers, and finally her tail out of the water. In awe, she proceeded to consume some of the bountiful food that lay outside of the aqua prison at night.

She called to the three other fish, exclaiming that the tribes would all feast upon this food. With wide-eyes and grace, the fish began to swim for the top of the water to reach this haven they have just been told about. First, the Timari fish darts toward the bank. His eyes rising first, then his gills, when all of a sudden, the Timari fish falls to the bottom of the river limp, never flipping a gill again. The Grafton fish exclaims that the Timari fish did not do it correct and swims towards the reeds, next to the bank, where she quickly meets the same fate. The third fish from the Raymond clan had common sense. He began to speed back to the river area, and attempts to get back in his cave before the dawn strikes. The Summer fish, with a shocked expression, spits her food out and attempts to dive back into the water, when she is met with the cruel fate of dying on the surface, as she violated all commandments in place. When morning struck, the god above decided to create a barrier, where he disallowed all fish to venture outside their habitat. These marine animals figured this out by swimming to the bank to leave the aqua-domain, but were killed instantly. Today humans wonder, why do the gills of the fish not allow them freedom? To answer homo-sapiens curiosity, thank the fish of the Summer tribe.
